WHO I AM

Dr. Klayton M. Young is an Omaha native that is passionate about improving his community and the people in it through service, education and outstanding physical healthcare.  He graduated from Cleveland University-Kansas City in April of 2016 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. He is Board certified from NCBE (Parts I-IV and Physiotherapy).  He holds multiple certifications that include specialized training in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal dysfunctions through movement, rehabilitation through motor corrections, and neurological dysfunction assessment.  He has extensive experience with the movement of the body through 19+ years of internal martial arts and currently teaches Tai Chi for health, vitality, balance improvement, breathing coordination and strength. Dr. Young is also a professor at College of Saint Mary and teaches Anatomy and Physiology for the Nursing and Occupational Therapy programs in order to share his knowledge with the next generation of healthcare professionals.  Dr. Young is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association, Bellevue Offutt Rising Professionals Network, and the Ralston and Sarpy County Chambers of Commerce. The doctor, along with his wife and children reside in the Omaha metropolitan area and are active members of many community and volunteer based programs.

He believes the body functions as an entire unit using corresponding motor patterns so the treatments that he provides reflect that philosophy instead of chasing symptoms; this, he believes is how you gain complete healing and long term success.

“Only treating the area of pain is incorrect; by doing this, we are only going to move the pain elsewhere and create additional compensations until the entire structure has finally been addressed and the movement dysfunction identified that continues to cause the problem.”
